Started pinion replacement part

I have a 1979 Johnson 150 and my starter pinion isn't rising anymore. I was wondering how to fix this or if there is a replacement part somewhere. The part number is 08143 - 23 - M030SM. It's an Americans Bosch

You can lube it with light oil and work it up and down a few times to loosen it up. The old lube can get crusty after time. Also check all your connections in case you're not getting full voltage to the starter.

^^^+1. like he says. All connections have to be bright and shiny -- good to start with the battery. May need to have the battery tested (Give it a full charge).
