just put a brandnew starter in my 85hp v4<br />it works but alot of time i will just hear a click like 3 or 4 try's then i hit it again and vroom starts right up?<br />what do i need to check?
You need to check all connections of hi current cables from battery to engine. Most likely suspect: where the battery ground cable connects to the block. Don't just look at them. Take them off and clean them.<br /><br />Another high possibility is the electrical connection from the starter motor to the engine block.<br /><br />Good luck.
