Welcome to the forum. Check all your connections to be sure their clean and tight. Especially check the ground connection. If all OK, suspect the solenoid.

Re: starter problems

I would check the cables inch by inch. Any cracks and the copper inside may be coroded in two pieces. It happened to me. Also the connections at the battery and starter selinoid.

Re: starter problems

put a load tester on your battery see if it is pulling to much that will tell you if it is the starter. a bad conection acts like a bad battery. after trying to start it a time ortwo feel of the conections the bad one will be warm . if not feel of the starter. it will git warm if it is dragging . a bad conection always gits warm even hot with enough hard draw.

papasage
