starter question ?

looking for a starter for 1977 175 johnson the #'s i got for the engine is 175tl775 and the starter has # 08142-23-m0305m it has 10 teeth, most of the starters i have found have 8 teeth does this matter or not, any help would be gratful. thanks chris

has to have the correct teeth.
