starter solenoid issue

hello all i have a 67 johnson super-seahorse electric 60hp i bought this boat as a running project it ran well for the first time i took it out but the next time i went to take it out it wouldnt start the starter solenoid made a click sound everytime i would turn the key so i bought another one in the mean time i replaced the ignition then i put the new solenoid on the motor but now i get nothing not even a click im not sure if i put the wires on right on the soleniod or not does anyone know where the wires go? or maybe i did the wiring on the ig. wrong? i need some help please

should be inline fuse near starter solenoid, that controls the ignition circuit.

i looked but could not fine a fuse that is inline the only fuse i found is right at the ignition at the front of the boat do u happen to kno where i may find a digram for the solenoid?
