Recently purchased the boat (1987 Ebko Monte Carlo) with no manuals of any type. I am having a little trouble starting it cold at times. It seems it won't start cold unless I take the flame arrestor off of the top of the carb and hold the choke open then it starts right up. It could be I am not using the proper starting procedure. Tried putting in neutral and just turning the key tried pumping once, tried pumping twice, tried setting at 1/3 throttle.
Seems to run great once it starts.
1 Can anyone give me the proper starting procedure.
2 Is there a good operators manual out there for this unit I can't seem to find one on line.
3 Any suggestions on a service manual and where to pick one up.
