starting engine without ignition switch

I have an 2001 225 hp johnson on a stand that I gotta start up. where do I hook up the jumper capables to get it going, also where do I hook up the jumper cables to test the trimtilt pump??

You didn't ask how to prevent blowing the super expensive regulator-rectifier, or other electronics, did you?
