starting great, but not running

1965 9hp chrysler starting up with a couple of pulls, runs for 2 mins and then dies and then I have a real hard time strating it back up.

I am still running it on gas that i added stabilizer to last year,

Is that my problem?

I know, i know its an old motor, Its my cottage motor, my last one got up and walked away. so i will keep this old one that usually works great.

When is the last time you cleaned the carb, replaced the plug and replaced the fuel bulb and hose?
