If the system on a 115 VRO is not charging - about how long can a fully charged battery be expected to function before the motor no longer fires? i.e., about how much time would a person have to move a boat from one place to another before the motor stops functioning. This would assume no electrics or other drains on the battery.

Hello the motor can run indefinitely without the battery as long as your ignition system is good the charging system is separate from that. How long the battery will last will depend on how many times you start it and how much you use the tilt and trim

Why not fix the charging system and stop worrying? That way the engine running from one stop to the next will help recharge the battery that starting took out. It won't completely recharge the battery unless you boat for a long time between stops. But it will help some... JMHO!

Take an extra charged battery or two. Or fix the charging system.
