Re: starting problem

If all your connections are clean and tight replace the starter solenoid. And yes they can work sometimes and sometimes not.

Re: starting problem

I checked all the connections and I found a small red wire at the bottom against the post of a small black wire and the post had worn through the red wires insulation. Maybe that is the problem? IDK. Is the slave solenoid the same as the starter solenoid? The one Im lookin is located at the bottom part of the engine to the left of starter and has a big red wire and a big yellow wire.

Thanks for the info!:)

Re: starting problem

If, when it feels like failing, you get a good start by jumping the two big terminals on that solenoid with a pair of pliers, the solenoid is bad. If it doesn't, then the starter is bad. Yes, they too can be intermittent.

hope it helps
