I am having problems with getting my1991 gt150 to start. Last night at a tournament we unloaded and just dropped the trolling motor down to dock the boat. The past 6 months this hasn't been a problem. I usually back the trailer in , fire it up and let the motor warm up. Last night i pumped the bulb up , unloaded , and we sat for about a half an hour. Got ready for blast off and she would not start. We fished around the docks for about an hour and it fired up. No problems the rest of the night. Last year clanton helped me go over all of my electronics( I never got to thank him). All of this checked out good. The same thing was happening last year. This may not have anything to with it but it acts like the chokes are hanging. You can start down on full throttle and it acts like it has no power, kick it out of gear and rev it up, then it runs fine. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Re: starting problems

I had the same problem with my chrysler. If it is a carbed motor check the carberator. I had to remove mine, strip it down and clean it. If your motor is not carbed sorry for the miss info.
