Starting System Basic Wiring Diagram

Hello,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the basic wiring diagram for the starting system of an 1993 OMC Cobra 5.0? I am trying to trouble shoot the starting system.

Also, can anyone point me direct on what I should do prior to starting a boat that has been sitting for almost 2 years?

Depends what you mean by jumpering.A remote starter switch is better . Making sure there are no gas fumes present before making a spark is a whole lot better.
Exactly what dosent work?

i am restoring a 1994 four winns and it currently doesn't have a throttle (which I am replacing) and the key switch cabling to the starter is currently disconnected (which I need to get figured out). So I want to start the motor up and need a temporary solution to use without the throttle and key switch cabling.

By the way this forum is awesome!!!! Everyone is so helpful and without this forum learning to restore a boat would be extremely difficult. Thanks for all your help.
