She a 2003 chaparral 240 Signature Volvo Penta 5.0 gxi-b (300 hours) She starts and then she shuts down after running around 2 to 3 sec, I can force her to run with moving the throttle and get it to run at 1600 rpm for around 15 min, as soon as I touch the throttle she shuts down. This is what I have done so far checked the fuel ok changed the fuel filter and clean the screen changed the throttle sensor changed all the sensor in the cpu changed the oil sensor checked the fuel lines for pressure hi 60 lbs and low 4-6 and holds also changed the distributor cap and rotor and cleaned the sensor under the rotor also changed the air control sensor, checked all the warring from the key switch to the engine. Checking on the firer boy system on the boat if that could shut her down for any reason. Checked the wiring on the tac checked all the wiring on each of the sensors and we are know checking the negative wiring in the harness If any one out there could help me I will take all advice..... Thank you.....

Being that it will run at 1600 rpm and then die if slowed down, its the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. The IAC Is used from idle to around 1500 rpm to control the rpm. This is classic of what happens when it goes out
