ah, you guys don't understand what's happening here. These state employees are unionized, thier contract job description doesn't alow them to walk on a broken escalator. They're waiting for the escalator repairmen who can't get there because he's stuck at a signal ahead warning sign waiting for it to turn green. Even if he makes it he can't fix the problem until the state employees get off the escalator cuz that's in his job description. So, the best we can hope for is that some kind person provides food and drink until they reach minimum retirement age and are no longer union members, then they can walk off. ah, the beauty of civil service jobs,,,d
