Stater/Solonoide Problems???

Hi,<br />I went boating today and my boat got flooded. I turned the motor over like 25 times in a row trying to start it. Now when I start it turns the motor over for like 1/2 second then it disingages and the starter spins free. Can someone please tell me what the problem is?<br />Thanks,<br />Ben Hunter

That's not an outboard, Ben. It is an I/O (Inboard/Outdrive).<br /><br />I will move this to the I/O Forum.
