The stator is the stationary part of the alternator, located under flywheel. The stator has 3 sets of windings, 1 set for charge coil, 1 set for power coil, 1 set for charging system. Charge coil is for ignition power pack, power coil is for S.L.O.W., charging system charges battery.
I have heard that they can get stuck ib low ... anybody know anything about these?<br /><br />Thanks!
