Stator cross reference

Will a 300-F658095 Stator from 1988 Force 125 hp work on a 1990's Force 120 hp that uses a 300-888793 Stator? I'm trying to save money and use parts that I have instead of buying new.

Acording to the parts cross only some 86-87-88-89 cross over.
The 85 hp and 125 are the same.
Try changing the connectors before you get a new one.
The connector breaks but still looks good.

Go to boats . net Force parts 1988 125hp look up the stator.
It has about a hundred that will cross over but nothing past 89.
Post a pic of your old and the 120

Hello & Thank You

I can't find My other Stator(lost in the Garage somewhere), But with a remanufactured Trigger and another cdi box I now have all four plugs firing instead of just 1 and 3, A new Prop. also.

I'd be lost without this site and Your great Knowledge. Tomorrow I go to the Lake and see if it goes faster than 10 Mph.
