Last fall i found the problem,stator was leaking and caused misfire,and not fire at all. Now its spring and i need a stator. talked to a local outboard-dude,who wondered if the ignition system could be switched with another ignition system that he had laying around,with sparkplug wires attached under the flywheel or something like that,but it depended on the diameter on crank where its is bolted on. Is this guy onto something here?
I have trouble finding stator here in norway,and ebayers wont ship the used ones..would be easyer to rebuildt it with this dudes parts that he has laying around.

Doubt that the ignition under the flywheel can be made to work on your motor.-------Lots of those stators available in my area.
