iam having starting problems on my 70hp and checked the resistance between the red and blue wire on the stator as per the manual and it reads zero with no continuity. The manual says it should be around 3000 ohms from memory. Does this mean my stator is stuffed ?as i am still getting good spark but it just isnt firing.<br />Someone suggested it was the timing trigger but the resistance check for that looked ok, per manual.
