Are they all rotted? Mine were really bad. I just replaced my stator on Monday. I have read that if you can find some clean stable wire and insulation somewhere on the wire in question, you can cut out the bad stuff and splice in some new stuff. Of course get some wire that is about the same gauge.
Where are they hanging from? If they are just barely hanging on from the stator itself, I would definitely go a different route. I picked up a brand new OEM stator off of eBay for my 150 last year for peanuts.
