02 johnson 150 Ocean Pro. lost all spark while on vacation. local omc dealer says power pack. so we make a four hour trip get power pack and install, still no spark
. weekend is shot now. bring boat home, just tested stator with ohm meter as per manual. brown and brown and yellow I got .549 ohms, supposed to be 1000 ohms, orange and orange and black, I got 57.8 ohms, supposed to be 100 ohms. didnt have any way to check DVA cause i didnt have anyone to crank the motor. just wanting to know if just going by the ohms test am I ok to assume that it is bad or should I double check with DVA??
