Has anyone ever heard of replacing steel pontoons on a pontoon paddle boat with inflatable pontoons?

Like other people on this forum who are tired of repairing rusting steal pontoons I was thinking that inflatables could work then in the off season deflate and remove them. I would still have to find a way to mount the upper steel mechanics.
