I received a steerable tube, Slash 2, as a graduation present a few years ago. It is nice for young riders and large riders because they can get on easy with the open back. My issue with it is i cant give them a good ride. It tracks right behind the boat. I ordered a few plain doughnut tubes for my sons birthday on the 4th but i dont think they will be in in time. Could I cut the fins off the steerable tube to get better "fling" affect?
PS WM has tubes on sale for 29.99. Hard to beat that. I hate to endorse WM when Iboats is way better but times are tough for a lot of people and thats a good fair deal in these tough times.
