I have a 2006 300 Sea Ray w/ 5.0 BIII and have a couple of minor issues.

1 - The Port throttle lever slack is looser than the Starboard. There is nothing loose on the engine. It seems it is loose in the controls. Also, is the detent adjustable? I don't feel any, and is difficult to feel Forward and Reverse. Not sure what brand Controls they are.

2 - I have a little slop that I believe is excessive. I had the Admiral turn the wheel, slop to slop, while I was watching the cylinder behind the engines. The shaft going through the cylinder was loose, approx 1/2" left to right. Is there an adjustment to remove this slop?

Ayuh,... You don't say, so I'll assume your talking about the P/Steering Actuator...
If the motor's not runnin',.. A little Slop is the range of movement of the Valve part of it...
Kinda normal..

Donno what to tell ya about the controller,... Donno what it is... Some are adjustable, some ain't...
