Steering bracket help 2011 Merc 60hp Bigfoot

Hello!

I am replacing the steering bracket kit (816667A 2) on my 2011 Merc 60hp bigfoot. I do not have any instructions. What is the torque specification for the bolts? Also, con I use the forward hole to attach the steering arm?

Hi,

On my 2005 60hp EFI the manual stats 3.7Nm (like not much at all...32lb-in) for those M10 bolts. Guess its held by that tab washer.

The manual says to use the middle hole, not sure why.
