steering cable range

motor is a 1996 60hp merc with teleflex single steering. i was removing cable but figured out i didn't have to so put back together. i had loosened all nuts in doing so.

now my steering range when turning the wheel only goes all the way one direction. when i turn wheel the other direction, motor doesn't go as far right as it did to the left. where is the correction/adjustment i need to make? is it in the steering wheel on console or back at the motor where cable goes thru tube with lock nut.

any help apreciated.

We don't have enough information on the system. Is it a drum, or a rack system at the helm? What nuts did you loosen? Pictures are worth a lot, just either take them at 640 x 480, or resize them. There's few things more agravating than a 3000 pixel wide picture causing you to have to scroll the entire screen from side to side to read the script.
