I am about to bolt on a new CMC power trim unit and have removed the steering cable to make it easier to remove the motor. My current cable is 10.5 feet and with the extra 6" setback the CMC will give I thought I might need an 11 foot cable. The number on my Teleflex cable is SC/270 H1 tried to find it on line but no go. Looked at the rotary head and could not see anything on it, but the Bezel had a label which said TR-188 B.I.A. Rated SAFE-T. I am assuming it is a Teleflex SAFE-T system, not sure if the new Teleflex QCII cables will work with this or do I need a complete new unit. Sorry this is so long winded.
