Steering Console...

I'm thinking about buying a 14 foot aluminum boat off Craigslist. The boat has three bench seats. How do I mount a steering console on this? Pictures...

You can build one and just mount it behind the middle bench as pictured....... I would NOT mount it as a center console since it would leave very little room to get passed it.

if you notice in the picture arks 14ftr has the console off center a bit, take into consideration youll want to walk around it, jon boats are not very wide. place it in there on the trailer and move around inside a while it will help you get it sitchated.
