Steering issues

I have a 1989 baretta 184 with an Volvo Penta aq131d. It seems that the steering is very Slow to respond and once it does it seems to be major oversteer. Now I'm still learning this boat and it's been a while since I've driven one but I have driven a few in the past and I don't remember anything like this. Ay ideas or thoughts or am I just a noob?

Wheel turns free from lock to lock, drive turns along with wheel and is not stiff at all (in fact may seem a little too easy?) no binding, greased everything and from the trailer it looks right on just doesnt feel right. How far L or R should the drive go?

Lol, thanks bond-o....... I was thinking as much but ya know I always want to rue out user error if possible.
