The steering has been this way since I bought it used. The problem is that the steering is really stiff going left or right from center, one you start to turn it gets "normal"/easy all the way to the stop and coming back again. But as you approach center it gets stiff again. I've greased everything I can see and it has had no effect on the problem.
There is no grinding, no catch, no bump, and its the same every time and pretty equal left and right of center.
Small adjustments during normal steering are the worst.
I thought about swapping it over to hydraulic but that was waaaay to expensive.
