Re: Steering problem

Most likely is a cable problem...unhook steering rod at motor and make sure motor is not binding...best solution is to replace cable, sometimes you can get some lubrication in cable for a temporary fix...just a Thought

Your Trim-Tab under the Cav. Plate is Way Out of Adjustment.............<br />Loosen it,+ Turn it the Other Way.......

Re: Steering problem

Single engine boats tend to turn tighter and easier in one direction cause the direction of the prop forces the engine into one direction. It could be steering related as well. I had a steering link too short. Boat was corkscrewing one way and turning WIIIIIDDEEE the other as well. After welding in about 5cm, my prblem was solved. Now its equally stiff in both directions, I still need to replace the steering cable!!!
