Steering Pulls hard to the right

Man , If I let go of the wheel my boat thanks a hard Starboard turn , what could be making this happen.. ( 1979 85hp Outboard Evinrude)

The trim tab needs to be adjusted. It is a little fin hanging down from your lower unit, above the prop. You loosen the nut, and move the fin in the direction the boat wants to turn (sounds counter intuitive, but it is a trim tab, and it forces the motor back straight if you adjust it a bit).<br /><br />Good luck,<br />fp

Thanks a bunch , maybe i won't have to hold on to the wheel with a death grip anymore , (LOL)
