Re: steering pulls to the right

my 2005 glastron did this w/ a 150 merc and the dealer installed a trim tab and told me that if nothing changes, i can just ajust it myself by using a 1/2 inch socket w/ an extension and loosen it. The trim tab is set up so it goes to the right or left in clicks. i ended up having to turn my trim tab to the RIGHT 2 clicks and it helped a lot. remember, turn your trim tab to the way your boat is pulling so in your case you would be turning it to the RIGHT not left.

Do you have power trim? If you run at speed with the engine trimmed in from the optimium spot it will pull to the right. Trimming out will neutralize the pull and triming out further will cause a pull to left.

yes you are correct, adjust it to the way it pulls. many people make the mistake of adjusting it to the opposite way of the pull and it makes it much, much worse and they wonder why. good luck and have fun :D
