Steering shaft size, Eclipse 233

Hello all,


I need to find out what size steering wheel shaft is on a 1990 Wellcraft Eclipse 233.

Is it 3/4"?

Any help is appreciated.

should be standard 3/4 inch tapered.

Next question, is there a special tool that is needed to remove a hub or nut holding the steering wheel on? Is it a reverse thread?

I just bought the boat (1990 233 Eclipse) and it is in storage, so I cant take a look at it.

I truly appreciate the help.....
