steering system question

how do i tell if ihave rotary or rack and pinion steering? the boat is a 17' renken 1986 with a 4.3l engine with cobra outdrive.

look under the console, rotary has a round helm with cable coming out. rack has a long narrow rack on each side. of the center helm
