I put a wedge kit on my Jupiter helm. Worked great.

Hey Losd!

I think the family, boat, and I will be out on Minnetonka on Sunday. Would be SWEET to meet up on the lake / at the landing, do some boating, fishing, and swimming from the boats together, mooring them together / anchoring in close proximity. We are planning on being out most of the day (11am to sunset or so) and would love to get the families together. Likely going to avoid Big Island with the 5 year old and 2 year old aboard!

If you have a more preferable lake in the local Minnetonka area, let me know. Understand Minnetonka can be a pain for the fun (busy launches, etc).

FYI - If you can find the extra change in the couch seats, swing for the tilt. I had it on my 18' and it came in handy when the driver size would change!

That just might work. Most likely to launch at Grey's Bay. It's been 20 years since I have been out there. Most of my time on the water has been up by Alex. How busy does the new launch there get?

Otherwise I have your cell.

I don't know what type of boat your retrofitting, but on my bass boat I put two 10 degree bezel kits on her. They work great. Easy to install. The reason I went with two 10s was because I did not know how much of a tilt I wanted on the wheel. I always could take one out. Not doable with the twenty degree kit. If you go with the Teleflex adjustable helm kit you will have to enlarge the mount hole to 3-1/2" to accommodate the helm. I didn't want to do that so I went with the bezel kit. It fits in a 2-1/8" hole.

Picked up a kit and I will get some pictures of the swap. I am going to try and get it finished tonight to get on the water this weekend.

This was a 20 minute fix/replace, here's some pictures to help out the next person.
