Steering wheel hub.

I just got a wood and chrome steering wheel free from a friend. However its from a car and has a different hub. just wondering if you can buy the marine hub anywhere the auto one is splined where the marine is tapered with a slot key. Any help would be good, my local marine store just gave me a dumb founded look.

Ayuh,... Short of cuttin' up an old boat wheel, 'n salvaging the hub from it,...

Yes there are companies that make adapters and I remember seeing them once some time back.

Google this "marine steering wheel adapters"

hmm ok, thanks guys, may look at taking a hub of another wheel or maybe getting this one machined. would like to use this wheel as it looks awesome! but not the end of the world
