I need to replace a 9.9hp outboard with another motor. Problem is the new motor doesnt have a the steering controls but rather is a tiller model. I've been looking at the new motor (ME5M model) and i think i could attach the steering bar to the new motor. But can i buy an attachment so that my mercury controls can control the throttle?
