Stereo & Blue Seas ACR Install

I've been working for the last two weeks to upgrade my stereo and install an automatic charging relay. Lets take a look at the progress:

Here's the stereo equipment to be installed. (2) 10" JL Audio Marine Subwoofers, (4) JL Audio 6.5 Coaxial Component Speakers, 600 watt JL Audio Class D Subwoofer Amp, 660 watt MB Quart 6 Channel Component Amp


Tear up the cockpit to remove the rear bench for the subwoofer box


Build the box (MDF covered in resin as a moisture barrier) around the existing bench fascia to fire outward into the cockpit

Install subwoofers in box and remount in the boat. It was a super tight squeeze to get this big hulk back in.


Install vinyl wrapped top and seal off.


Speakers and amps are a work in progress. Meanwhile in the bilge.....

Install the ACR, fuses, amp distribution blocks, and wires for 2 more batteries.


Big ole' tangled mess of wires for the first battery bank.


Organized chaos.

Sweet mang, nice install. I'm sure you'll be more than happy with all that JL equipment, let me know what you think of their subs. :thumb: :rockon:

Nice... I just did mine 2 weeks ago. 4 Channel M400/4 w/10" M10 and 2 7.7 M770's - was too exhausted to post pictures. Enjoy. Those speakers sound great...

I almost pulled the trigger on the 770's but they were too big for the existing holes and as involved as this install has been I didn't want to cut anything I didnt have to, lol. Were your stock speakers 7.7"?
