I am having a lot of stereo interferance when I am using 12v power on the refrigerator. I have no issues from the engine or any other source, but when the refrigerator kicks on you can barely hear the radio from the buzzing. Any ideas?

Did this issue just start this season or has it been an issue from the beginning? Take your batteries and have them load tested they could be on their way south...

Thanks Bubba. I will give that a try. Lipp, this is a new remodel, the fridge is older but the batteries and the stereo are brand new.

I bet you would find a difference in voltage if you measured between the fridge ground and the stereo ground. You probably have a grounding problem somewhere.

If the noise is on the radio (ie fm or am) and not on cd or casette (what ever the case may be) it could be coming from the antenna, there is a filter for that as well.
