I'm replacing an Aquatronics MS-205 with a Boss MR1309UAB system. I'm having trouble mapping the wires. I mapped it according to the label on the Aquatronics and the manual for the Boss.
I did NOT replace the speaker wires. I'd have to take the boat out of the water for that since they run underneath the deck.
Below is what I did -
Aquatronics Location Boss
Orange/White inline 3amp fuse (+)12v Yellow Fused (+)12v Memory 15 amp in back of unit
Black/White Ground Black
White Left Front Pos White
Blue Right Front Pos Grey
Red Left Rear Pos Green
Yellow Right Rear Pos Violet
Violet Left Neg Green/Black and Violet/Black
Lt Green Right Neg White/Black and Grey/Black
????? POWER Red
As you can see the Boss has separate wires from each speaker ground (FR, FL, RR, RL) whereas the Aquatronics has only two for right and left, so this is how I connected them.
Also the Boss has a RED for POWER whereas the Aquatronics does not. What do I do with this?
Do I have this right?
Any tips or suggestions?
Thanks for you time.
