Stern drive identification help.

Yes, I looked in the Adults Only section. It wants me to download the document and I cant do that on this computer. Every other site gives me a year range but no name. I think it is a 1974 model, Tag says Mercruiser SN 3903836. Im bringing this old Ranger bass boat back to life. Waiting on a carb rebuild kit and Im sure Itll need a water pump. Figured I would locate parts while I tear it down.

Yes, it's a Mercruiser-1 drive. Often so badly identified as a 'pre-Alpha'. I would cheerfully drown the inbred would first coined that term. It's wrong on so many levels.
