I would like to ask experts, what would be normally the largest diameter of sterndrive engine propellers. It seems manufacturers have rather reduced size diameters.
I've seen 16" diameter intended for alpa one outdrives.
Diameter is a secondary consideration and simply follows the pitch and application.
Typically as pitch goes up diameter goes down and as pitch goes down diameter
goes up.There are exceptions.

Thanks to all. It has to do with a diesel sterndrive (inboard) for a rather heavy catamaran 60 ft and 25000 Lbs each hull. It seems that a sterndrive cannot be used in such a cat as it would require large diameter propeller to move on (engine 300-380 HP) and sterndrives have limited diameters.

This kind of engines Yanmar, Volvo, etc. seems they have standard propeller diameters that apparently are good mainly for light boats. The question is if there are any manufacturers with larger custom made propellers for such a kind of diesel sterndrive engines?
