Anybody tryed using drives from Sterndrive Enginerring? i was looking at having my alpha 1 rebuilt but i found these guys on ebay, cost $695 for a lower unit and $1195 for the whole thing. I bought the lower unit and I just installed it, seems to work fine on the muffs i'm gonna try it out on the water in the morning. If it works out i think i got a good deal.

Hey Mike I've been running an SEI 116 lower for a year now with zero complaints. I have heard from others that the paint quality is not as good but I trailer and don't care.
