I pulled my old faithful Lowe Pontoon boat out for a run and found that the throttle cables and steering cables are REALLY stiff and scratchy. most of my other boat experiences have been with newer oats and they never had this issue. this wonderful old beast is about 30 years old but I am not sure how old the cables are as I got it just four years ago. 90 HP Johsnon rund like a champ. is there a grease kit for stiff cables or another remedy? or is it just time to change them out for a new set of cabling altogether? anyone have any experiences with this??
thanks in advance..
