Hey everyone, I'm putting togeather an 1986 bass track tx17 with a mariner 50hp that runs very good and got the boat cheap. Anyway it has a 10 1/2 by 12p prop on it and the last owner said it ran well with that prop and the rpm's were at there range and got up on plain good. Well anyway I want to put an ss prop on and was looking at the stiletto traid ll prop of the same pitch and diam.It has a really good write up on small hp motors. Is this a good prop?

Re: stiletto prop

Personally I think they're very good props. I wouldn't hesitate at all about buying a Stiletto.

Re: stiletto prop

I've got an '85 TX17 with a 70hp merc....I'm running a Triad on it...in 12P, but I'm at 3200ft where I run it.
I've ran about 6 different SS props on this rig and the Triad seems to be best over-all.
As Dhadley said, I would not hesitate to buy one either....:)

Re: stiletto prop

Just curious, how much is that Stiletto prop here at iboats? For 195 you can get a Turbo for just a couple $$ more, maybe the same.
