I am just wondering how many people still are taking their boats out this time of year ?
Hey,who's boasting, Sanger? It's not as great as it may sound to live here. Three hurricanes have left thier mark. The summers here in the "sunshine state" are nothing short of brutal. The state bird, in realitiy, should be the salt marsh mosquito.
A fishing trip in the Imperial or Calloosahatcheee Rivers in June-thru-October requires a transfusion after cleaning the boat and the fish.
I guess boating on ice aint too easy, but it can't be to rough to sit around a toasty fire with the better half, whilst sipping the beverage of your choice.Originally posted by sangerwaker:
Alright. You guys in the south stink!![]()
I guess living down there does have it's advantages, but how many times a year do you have snowball fights, or go sledding?

Myself, I am still boating (and skiing) here. Going to try to get out this afternoon before I take my son out for Halloween. Should be a high about 48 today. We (myself and some other hardcore wackos) ski until there is ice on the lakes, and then we usually head to the Mississippi once per month over the winter.
