I have been trying all the advice you all have been giving.
Can someone tell me what year my motor is J150TLCUR/R7495598.
Hear are my findings: compression is 80-82 in all cylinders.
Tested with a timing light to see that te spark wires are to the right cylinders.
Decarbed
Have not replaced the thermostats yet(the spark plugs are not even warm)
Disconected each bank(motor runs with one side connected only).
Plan to replace thermostats and spark plug wires.

Getting hard to tell how its running standing in the drive way, going to lake test today.

ANother question: When I have the water turned on it is running out of somplace just about the lower gear box at the back, not just coming out of the small holes. Have I broke something using the hose and cups?

The one side sparkpugs hot and the other side cold still has me concerned. Can I do a resistance test on the coils?

Thx for any info....
