I put a post on last night about my erude 15hp E15RENM. I replaced the fuel tank hose and the tank but had it out today and after running it about 3 miles 3/4 throttle it started loosing rpms, so I reached down and pumped the bulb and away it went. Started acting up again and, pumped the bulb and away it went. I ordered a carb kit , thermostat and a fuel pump. Also it seems to do it once it gets hot. One more silly question. I bought a new bulb and hose before I ever had it out and the hose is about 8-9 feet long. To me that seems a long ways to pump feul for the small dia. Any thoughts on that one????????????????????

I've got 20' of hose on my tank. The fuel pump is still only picking the gas up from the bottom of the boat, to the motor.

Cut the fuel line to suit your needs.

I suspect that the carb kit will solve the other problem. When you get the carb apart take it to somewhere where they have high pressure compressed air & blow out all the little inner passages. Check the float hight carefully as they may not be anywhere near spec. out of the box.

Another thing to check is the little o rings in the fuel line connectors. When they go bad you suck air which will give you the same symptoms.

Another thought........This motor does have a high speed air/fuel adjustment. It could be possible this might have something to do with it????????Maybe I should try adjusting it at 3/4 or full throttle. I never messed with it and it'll take a long standard screwdriver. Any thoughts on this idea. I want to thank ebody for their suggestions and help. I'll post whatever I found once it's working. And someone answered my post that alot of people seem to have about the same problem,,,,,,,but there's so many things that can cause this problem. Thanks guys.
