still no power

i have a 86 classic 50 45 horse this motor has a new trigger, great compresson on all cy. 115.118.118. 117, but still no power! it will push the tracker boat about 10mph. the trigger was replaced because of a bad wire anyone have any ideals on what i am over looking?

When you checked compression, how did the spark plugs look?

Since I am a shop, while I test compression I also test spark to ensure that the ignition is up to par.

It is possible that you have a weak stator and the ignition is weak, which limits high speed power under load.

You will need to test your ignition to either confirm or rule out a problem.
